Our mission is to ENRICH the lives of anyone & everyone who is associated with our company.
Memphis East Fred Astaire Dance Studio is a group of knowledgeable, talented, caring, professional dance instructors who love what they do and and want to share the love of ballroom and Latin dancing with you. Let our dance instructors teach you to dance for your big event, your new lease on life, or just because. The instructors from the Memphis East Fred Astaire Dance Studio can teach you to dance for virtually any occasion.
How we teach and train.
We have a very simple idea of how ballroom dance
lessons should go: fun and easy. That is the main focus for all levels,
from beginners to advanced ballroom dance competitors.
Memphis East Fred Astaire Dance Studio teaches two types of dances: Rhythm dances and Smooth dances . These two types include social and party dancing; ballroom and Latin dances; and competitive ballroom dancing.
Memphis East Fred Astaire Dance Studio staff is made entirely of full-time,
certified, professional dance instructors. They feel that the best
lessons are taught by instructors who spend their days training to
teach better dance lessons and working on their own dancing. With this
in mind, all dance instructors are tested regularly by the Fred Astaire
National Council of Dance. All certifications must meet Memphis East Fred Astaire Dance Studio's
high standards; passing is not good enough. All instructors must
receive Highly Commended or better in their dance tests. The tests
consists of leading and following each dance to music, solo
demonstrations for each pattern in each dance, and appropriate
explanations of teaching techniques.

Warm up to dance lessons at the Memphis East Fred
Astaire Dance Studio in Bartlett, TN. Dance lessons are starting weekly. Introductory
dance lessons are available Monday through Friday, call (901) 213 9393
for more information. NO PARTNER NECESSARY. Private dance lessons, group dance
classes, and combinations of both are available. Ballroom and Latin
dancing lessons are a great way to stay fit, have fun, and meet new
people! We hope to see you soon!

private dance lessons, dance parties, dance lessons for groups, dance
